ACHIEVEMENT
Music students put on a great show
To the editor:
I would like to congratulate the staff and students at Millennium Music for putting on a great concert June 19 and 20. The concert gives the students an opportunity to show off their talents to family and friends. This was the first concert that my children participated in and it was a great experience.
My daughter was nervous about playing the piano in fornt of a crowd but Emily, her teacher, accompanied her out there and she did a great job. There was no competition; all the kids encouraged each other before their performances and congratulated each other when they came off stage.
Mark Hamer and the staff at Millennium Music deserve a huge thank you for putting this event together each year. From organizing and scheduling performances, transporting equipment to the venue and the setup, a lot of time and effort is involved and they all work together as a team.
We can't wait until next year.
